About Troop 17
We've been serving the Centreville area, helping young men ages 11–17 grow into capable, confident leaders of character.
Program Highlights
Outdoor Adventure
Monthly campouts, hiking, summer camp, and exciting trips throughout the region.
Scout-Led Program
Youth run the troop through the patrol system, building real responsibility and decision-making skills.
Skills for Life
First aid, cooking, navigation, citizenship, and over 100 merit badge topics, all hands-on.
Service & Character
Eagle Scout projects and community service that make a real, lasting difference locally.
Meetings & Location
New Scouts and their parents are always welcome to visit before deciding to join. Just show up. No commitment required.
